(Monday, April 12, 2021) – ST. PETE PRIDE TO HOST 2PM PRESS CONFERENCE THIS AFTERNOON AT VINOY PARK TO ANNOUNCE THE DETAILS OF 2021 ST. PETE PRIDE.
Board President and Director, Nathan Bruemmer and St. Pete Mayor Rick Kriseman will invite members of the media to view the debut of the 2021 St Pete Pride creative and tentative schedule. St Pete Pride has worked diligently to design a creative and safe Pride with a twist for June of 2021. 2021 Pride will stretch throughout the month of June and feature 4 themed weeks with a signature, albeit scaled down event each weekend and community events presented by partners in different parts of the community throughout the remainder of the month. The goal being to still give the local LGBTQIA+ community the opportunity to gather, educate and celebrate but also ensure safety and wellness in the face of COVID-19. This year most events will be ticketed to enforce capacity regulations. Tickets will go on sale on May 1st. 2021 Pride is sponsored by City of St Pete, VSPC, Trulieve and AHF with Tampa General as health & safety sponsor. Pride season will unofficially kick-off on Tuesday, May 23 with the Miss St Pete Pride Pageant at Postcard Inn on the Beach.
