Sapphic St Pete Joins the St Pete Pride Family

We are thrilled to announce that Sapphic St Pete is officially joining St Pete Pride! Returning the first week of November 2026, this week-long festival continues a beautiful tradition dedicated to centering lesbians, queer women, and sapphic-identifying community members. Originally founded by Rachel Covello to fill a vital need for intentional representation, the festival features everything from comedy and art to social mixers and speed dating. By bringing Sapphic St Pete under our year-round umbrella, we are doubling down on our mission to ensure every identity within the Tampa Bay LGBTQ+ community feels seen, celebrated, and empowered.

Sapphic St Pete is building something special — and we’re looking for the right people to help shape it.
We’re currently seeking motivated, welcoming, supportive, and community-driven individuals to join our Advisory Board as we plan our 2nd Annual Sapphic St Pete gathering, taking place October 31 through November 7.

This group will play a key role in bringing ideas to the table, supporting programming, and helping us create a meaningful, inclusive experience for the sapphic community.

If you’re passionate about community, connection, and creating spaces where people feel seen and celebrated, we’d love your help. We are looking for community leaders to join our inner circle—no board seat or formal commitment required. We simply value your voice and your presence as an asset to help make this event truly special.
